Hygiene and sub-gingival scaling

These versatile tips, used in supragingival and subgingival treatment, are effective in removing tartar deposits and are also suitable for maintenance treatment in patients with good dental hygiene.

No. 1-S tip: "Slim". 

  • Supra- and sub-gingival scaling.
  • It has improved load resistance, and superior amplitude and power compared to the original tip.
  • The more effective lateral edges make it particularly suitable for scaling the interproximal spaces.

No. 10Z tip: "Sub-gingival".

  • This tip is particularly recommended for the treatment of patients who maintain good oral hygiene.

No. 10P tip: "Shallow pockets".

  • Fine tip designed for scaling shallow pockets (<2-3mm).
  • It provides greater irrigation than the other tips.

Clinical applications

These tips are ideal for debridement of pockets less than 6 mm depth, and maintenance treatment of patients controlling their dental hygiene.

Tips have to be oriented tangentially to the treated surface. Apply on all the surface a to-and-fro sweeping motion to "push" and "pull" calculus without damaging the enamel. It is essential NOT to use excessive side pressure.


Hygiene kit is delivered with an autoclavable plastic box, n.1, n.1S, n.10Z, TK1-1S tips, three autoclavable dynamometric blue wrenches and one autoclavable dynamometric green wrench (Ref: F00935).
